Gideon Haigh is an independent Australian journalist who has worked with The Age, The Australian, The Guardian, and the ABC over his 40+ year career. With a prominent interest in cricket, he has written several books on the sport including The Cricket War, The Summer Game and On Warne, but has also written extensively on crime, architecture, and the law.
